About the book

This book has been my passion project for the past two+ years. It follows my journey post divorce, through the ups and downs of personal rediscovery in my late 30s. All the events are actual events, based on recollections, recordings or journal entries. The images that accompany the stories were all captured by me in the year the book is unfolding, most on medium format film, and a few digitally.

Through my stories, I share the tragedy and comedy of personal rockbottoms as well as the lessons that I’ll carry with me for life from this part of my life. And hope they light the path on the journey of others as well.

I truly believe we can move forth, and grow as humans, through forgiveness, of ourselves and others, a resiliently positive attitude and plenty of humor.
