There's no wrong way to feel right now
Since I live alone, most of my conversations nowadays, besides the occasional FaceTime catch-up calls with friends and talking to my dog, are with myself. So I feel it’s my duty, to check in with me, with kindness every day. And ask, then really listen.
Feeling drained today? No need to force to be productive. Stay in bed. Rest. Just don’t judge. Don’t “should”.
Feeling lit up by a project? Work as long as inspiration flows. Just don’t judge. Don’t “should”.
Craving greens? Listen to your body. But chew slowly. And don’t judge. Don’t “should”.
Feel like baking cookies. Bake the damn cookies. And saaaaavor them. But for crying out loud, don’t judge.
There’s no wrong way to feel. Just don’t judge.
