At Home Movement Practice - While Supporting Your Favorite Businesses Too
Tamra of Movewell
Whether this is something you’re doing already or not, I feel it’s important to reiterate the need of supporting our local businesses amidst these unprecedented times. Though I very much miss physically seeing and practicing with my favorite instructors, the current conditions are forcing me (as they are all of us) to approach this differently. Don’t know if your favorites have any virtual offerings? Call them, DM them on social media or text them to check. And if they don’t know how to set it up, maybe you can lend a helping hand and introducing them to the wonders technology can bridge, and in the process, allow others to have access to your new found workout platform too.
And if they offer the option to donate, do so, even if it’s a little. I’m sure they’ll agree with me, that every little bit counts during these times. As always, we vote with our dollars, so make sure that the direction your spending points these days is emphasizing who you want to see thrive at the end of this pandemic too. This applies to workout studios, book stores, pharmacies, wine & plant shops and the likes.
If you’re wondering who I’m tuning in with and supporting from home, here’s my local list.
Vibes Yoga for my absolute favorite buti class and Inferno Pilates.
For Pilates, Tamra of Movewell is my go-to.
And the Sunday yoga class I can’t wait to get back to at Tosha.
Ahhhhhh how I miss these women! I’m so grateful though for the practice, in any way they choose to share it.
Be safe. Be well. And always, intentional in all you do.
x,
Anda
